Sumer fashion is fresh, light and bright so it's a no brainer that here at L&L headquarters we've embraced the white hot trend that is, white on white. 

The forecast this Spring hasn't been one to dissapoint thus far, so when we were hit with yet another spectacular day we thought it was time to get out of the office and into the sunshine for a quick shoot to showcase one of our favorite trends (& items) at Lulu & Lala Boutique!

Emmy's!

The Emmy's have just kicked off the Hollywood award season and we have to say we can't get enough of the red carpet fashion!  We needed to take a quick moment to bring you some of our favourite fashion moments from the night.

The ultimate standout on the red carpet for us is hands down the luscious Rose Byrne who looked effortlessly stunning in Calvin Klein Collection... Although these gorgeous women to follow come in a close runner up's!

Our latest obsession in the L&L office is anything and everything tribal -  Bright colours, beading, tassles & pom poms we love it all! So, you can understand why we are Super excited to report this trend is hitting us hard this coming summer. Designers, bloggers and fashionista's alike (including ourselves) can't get enough of this look whether it's fashion, accessories or homewares we gotta have it!

Shoot Day!

This is our very first photo shoot for Lulu & Lala Boutique, and although we have had done this a million times before it is actually SO nerve racking when it's all your own.

Aside from what feels like a entire net of butterflies have been let loose in our stomach's the excitement is hard to ignore and we can't wait to start shooting!

This time around we shot with the incredibly gorgeous Renee Somerfield. Renee has graced the pages of countless fashion magazines and worked for the likes of Pleasure State Lingerie, Camilla and Alex Perry... Just to name a few. Renee was an absolute dream to work with on the day, powering through over forty looks without breaking a sweat! Complete professional & total babe. 

Of course none of this would have been possible without photographer extraordinaire and one of our dear friends Remy Gerega.

So glad you could join us! 

Well, where do we start... I suppose you could say this first blog post is somewhat overdue (Sorry bout that)... Never forgotten we figure better slightly late than never at all!

Here's a little of our story, what we're about.. Who we are, how we got here.

Lulu & Lala Boutique was started by us, Emma (Emmy Lou) and Tara (Lala). Inseparable since kindergarten we've seen many milestones in life - graduations, countless birthdays, job opportunities, and a baby! 

With a fashion PR, buying and business management backgrounds it seemed like a natural fit to to put it all together and create Lulu & Lala Boutique. We aspire to inspire in fashion, life and love. Lulu & Lala is for the creative, the believers, the dreamers and any that love to express themselves through the clothes they wear.

This blog is a little insight into our world  - all that we love in fashion and in life! 

So ... Let's have a catch up on the past few months and we can fill on whats been happening!
